The Twister E60 is the world’s first battery-operated, DC-powered rotary screw air compressor, designed for crews that need real industrial airflow without engine exhaust, fixed plant air, or a costly three-phase electrical installation.

Many applications that require 60 CFM of compressed air cannot be served by a standard wall outlet. Traditionally, that level of output means installing a large stationary industrial compressor, upgrading electrical service, and plumbing air throughout the facility. For many shops, warehouses, and production spaces, that kind of setup is expensive, disruptive, or simply not practical.

The E60 takes a different approach. Its battery system can be charged from a standard 120V outlet, then brought directly to the work. Instead of running long hoses from a compressor room, installing new air lines, or relying on plant air that may not exist where it is needed, crews can move high-output compressed air to the application itself.

With zero engine emissions, quiet operation, and no need for plug-in power during use, the E60 is ideal for confined, indoor, and emission-sensitive environments such as underground mining operations, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, enclosed service areas, and indoor dry ice blasting applications. It also gives crews a flexible mobile air source for air caster systems, maintenance work, and other jobs where compressed air is needed away from fixed infrastructure.

When installed on a service truck, the E60 can be paired with a 48-volt alternator system, giving the vehicle plug-in-hybrid-style functionality for compressed air and auxiliary power. Crews can charge the battery system at the shop, run the compressor out in the field, and rely on the truck’s engine as a backup charging source in demanding applications where battery capacity alone is exceeded.

The battery system can also be connected to an inverter to power electric tools and other jobsite equipment, turning the service truck into a cleaner, quieter, and more versatile mobile work platform. For applications with higher energy demands, the system can be sized with additional batteries to extend runtime and better match the needs of the crew.
